Sailed on the Boomerang early July, late August. It was the best thing we did in Australia!
Hello to the Big Griffer, Negative and the fellas from Oz, as well as the law students and tax inspectoress from Brum and everyone else who was there.
Back in Blighty now and boy is it depressing!
Bye |

Hi, i was on the British Defender 4-6 December 2003. It was without doubt the most exhilerating, fantastic, unbelievable experience of my life enhanced by the fantastic crew (dave, marcus, Zane, and Pete), food, and the rest of travellers on board. I was only in australia for 3 weeks and only in airlie beach for 5 days but i can honestly say i would recommend anybody to have a go and i can't wait to come back and do it all again. |

| In June 1999 I went sailing on Southern Cross with a good friend. We were on our "big trip" to Australia before starting university. The days we spend on the boat has become one of my favourite memories. I particularly remember one night - the boats were tied together and everybody met in the middle, at some point I just needed some time alone, and went back to Southern Cross where I stood all alone watching the stars, the quiet water, and the reflections from the small lamps on board. It was... sensational - as the (very) dear captain Damian commented! Sweetie, you were too much of a gentleman.... |

Thanks for the best time ever on British Defender, 9-12 Oct 2003! It was definately one of the best things I have done since being in Australia. Thanks to the friendly staff - Brendon, Simon, Zane and Maria, lovely food and a great laugh! Cheers |
