I would like to compliment you and your organisation on a very good operation. I was recently a crew member on Southern Cross from 30 December 1998 to 1 January 1999 and I can say honestly that it was one of the most enjoyable times of my life. It was in my opinion excellent value for money. I would like to compliment the skipper and crew. For starters they were very friendly and pleasant people and really helped to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere on the boat. The skipper was very informative and knowledgeable about the area and his job. He was also very down to earth and genuine in the sense that many resort workers, be it skiing, sailing or diving etc have a somewhat inflated self opinion & attitude. I was also impressed by his concern for the conservation of the marine life and the way he enforced his concerns firmly but pleasantly. The cook and hostess, was great fun and a wonderful character. Her ability to put her inhibitions aside and have fun is a real inspiration and was one of the main catalysts for everyone enjoying themselves. The meals were all excellent and well presented as well as more than sufficient. In all the whole trip was most enjoyable and will always hold good memories for me.
